Trade acquiring

The Joint-Stock Bank Kyivska Rus offers its clients to take advantage of a new service - trade acquiring.

Trade acquiring is a service, offered by the Bank to trade and service enterprises. Due to this service, an organization can accept plastic cards as a means of payment for goods and services. It would be better to explain in the following way: it is a mutual service offered by both the Bank and trade enterprise to the owner of a payment card. In order to accept payment cards, the enterprise has to conclude with the Bank a treaty of the payment terminal installation.

Under conditions of such an agreement, the trade and service enterprise:

• provides placing of terminal equipment for cards acceptance in its premises;
• accepts payment cards as a means of payment for rendered goods and services;
• pays the Bank fee for servicing in accordance with the concluded agreement.

The Bank:

• installs equipment in places of goods sale. It is unnecessary to have telecommunications;
• trains the employees of an enterprise in carrying out transactions with payment cards;
• checks the card’s solvency while carrying out payment transactions;
• repays amounts of transactions with usage of cards for a short term;
• provides necessary materials;
• gives an advise if there are some difficulties while carrying out payment transactions with usage of payment cards.

Trade acquiring is a beneficial business for both the Bank and enterprise. The Bank has an opportunity to widen the range of its services, get additional income in trade and service network. The enterprise gets an advantage as well:

• increase of a trade turnover (those, who use payment cards are not limited by amount of cash and as a result buy unplanned goods);
• provision of payments safety;
• less expenses for collection.
