Financial recession is almost over and all the banks set new ambitious tasks. To find out more about how the banks managed to survive the financial recession and what are they going to offer their clients in the new 2011 we asked Viktor Bratko, the Head of the Management Board of the JSB “Kyivska Rus”, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday.
Only very experienced bank could preserve its existence during the hard financial recession times and lose neither funds not clients’ trust. The JSB “Kyivska Rus” that is going to celebrate its 15th anniversary this year had already had some “crisis” experience both in 1998 and 2004. This might be the reason why during the later financial recession the bank could stay out with gains and not with losses. In 2010 the bank had 5,7 million UAH profit. And thought the financial experts admit that this figure is going to be updated considering credit transactions back up fund, to finish recession (and unfortunately not post recession as many financial experts forecasted in the beginning of 2010) year with profit in a huge achievement. We had not only reached the pre recession indexes, but had exceeded them
15 years it is a whole era. Together with other banks and Ukrainian economics we went thought 1998 crisis, and 2004. We are still overcoming the consequences of the financial recession in 2008. The bank had gone through both ups and downs, but we have never stopped working. Our bank had successfully survived during hard recession times and now we have new ambitious plans for our development. Banks are going to promote crediting in currencies not common for Ukraine
