“TRUSTWORTHY BANKS” “BANKIR” MAGAZINE RANKING

July 16, 2010, in “Sophia’s Grand hall” conference room (‘Premiere Palace”) awarding ceremony of the top 10 “Trustworthy banks”, according to the “Bankir” magazine rating took place. The research was conducted among Ukrainian Banks with the NBU’s bank activity license.

“According to the “Bankir” developed method, a major criterion bank’s position in our deposit trustability leader ranking determination was valuation of bank establishments’ activity, considering rating agencies, social services, specialized funds and associations opinion, as well as depositors’ work evaluation” – said Oleg Kapralov, the “KBD Vydav” publishing house director and the “Bankir” magazine chief editor.

The major goals of the “Trustworthy banks” ranking are development of Ukrainian banks establishments’ positive image as this is an important part of financial life of Ukraine, providing information on banks activities, public announcement of Ukrainian banks best achievements according to the common in the world practice principles, bank establishments support and confidence building as these are basic principles of banks’ professional activity, home banking business social responsibility development and also determination of those home banks that managed to preserve their goodwill and clients’ trust while overcoming difficult financial recession consequences.
