Guarantee Deposits SystemJSB Kyivska Rus is a participant of the Guarantee Deposit Fund (Licence ¹ 89 dated September 02, 1999) being created as a result of the President’s Degree ¹ 996/98 dated September 10, 1998.
The Fund is a specialized institution that performs duties of public administration in the sphere of individual guarantee deposits. The main aim of the Fund in Ukraine is protection of rights and interests of individuals - bank’s depositors.
The Fund guarantees each depositor of the bank-participant of the Guarantee Deposit Fund compensation of funds, including interest in the amount of a deposit balance (a sum of several deposits in the Bank) on the day of deposits unavailability, but not less than UAH 150, 000.
In order to receive compensation, it is necessary to apply during 3 days from the day of deposits unavailability. Compensation is paid out at the expense of the Fund in national currency in the territory of Ukraine.
